Hello Haisla Basketball fans, we had another great tournament, all as there were many close games all weekend. Congratulations to the Haisla Senior Women who are number 1 again...after beating Canyon Wildcats in a very exciting and entertaining final, which was broadcast live on CFNR. Special thanks to our organizing committee and sponsors for making this event possible. We will have a special thank you to each of our sponsors in a future newsletter and flyer. And congratulations to Deanna Smith for being named as the 2011 winner of the Cultural Warming Spirit Award, dedicated to the memory of the late Joe Iannarelli...for her persistence in getting back to the court to help her team win two big events in the last two months...way to go .
